Watanabe Nason is pleased to announce our representation and placement of Howard Wisnia and James Conley in joining Pillsbury. Both were formerly partners with Mintz Levin.
Howard Wisnia is an experienced IP trial lawyer who has successfully led litigation teams in a variety of patent infringement and other IP matters throughout the country. He has litigated matters on behalf of clients in the medical device, financial, telecommunications, semiconductor, and software industries.
Mr. Wisnia has successfully served as both first chair and co-counsel in patent litigation trials and has successfully argued numerous Markman hearings and summary judgment motions. He has also appeared before the International Trade Commission and coordinated multinational patent litigation in a variety of matters.
James Conley specializes in litigating intellectual property disputes and counseling clients on various patent and trademark matters, including global and domestic prosecution strategies, licensing, and due diligence relating to mergers, financing, and IPOs. In addition to patent litigation, he has substantial experience in litigating trademark and copyright disputes.
Mr. Conley’s practice also involves intellectual property counseling and prosecution. He works closely with his clients to develop and implement global IP strategies to meet business goals. He also manages his clients’ trademark portfolios and advises on IP licenses and other contracts touching on IP issues.
